Why is an end user getting logged out when trying to access the Service Console?

Description If an end user reports getting logged out of Salesforce when trying to access the Service Console, this may be a caching issue.
Resolution This should be easily resolved by editing the Console in Setup.

Go to Your Name > Setup > Create > Apps > (whichever Console is affected) > Edit > Uncheck the "Save User Session" checkbox and Save > Edit > Check the "Save User Session" checkbox and Save again.

The end user should now be able to access the Console again.
