Why am I unable to see the SOS widget to add it to the console app?

Description Not being able to see the SOS widget to add it to the console app means that the SOS licenses are not yet added to the users.
Resolution
  • The use must have the SOS licence assigned to them, and the user must be part of the permission set that enables SOS licenses
    • Go to Users, click on the user (their name, not edit), go to “Permission Set License Assignment” and add the “SOS License”. 
    • Go to Permission Sets, click on your Permission set that enables SOS, assign the user
  • Once completed, SOS will show-up on the console config page
