|Knowledge Article Number||000220174|
|Description||I have set one of my users "Viewer" access on my report folder.
Why is that s/he is still able to customize and save a copy of the report included in the folder?
|Resolution||Look into the profile assigned to that specific user.
It might be the case wherein the permissions “Create and Customize Reports” and "Edit My Reports" have been enabled.
The Viewer access to a report folder provide the visibility (access) to the report.
As per the documentation about Cloning or Editing a Report, the “Create and Customize Reports” permission allows the end user to see the "Save As" button, while "Edit My Reports" allows the user to save the report on the folder where it has been given access to.
