Why do Case Number and Case Created Date not appear in the Console Case Feed?

|Description||When using the Service Cloud Console and Case Feeds, the Case Number and Case Created Date are not visible in the Highlights Panel of the Case Detail page:
This behavior is different outside of the Console when viewing a Case detail page with Case Feeds:
|Resolution||This is expected, hard-coded behavior.
The reason Case Number and Case Created Date do not appear in the Console Feed is because the information is readily accessible/duplicated in the Console tab and List view, where it is not visible when elsewhere while viewing a Case outside of the Console.
