Receive an "Unavailable in the current business unit" error message when you select Active Audiences in Marketing Cloud

Description
You'll receive an error stating, "Unavailable in the current business unit" if your User Record isn't updated to allow access to Active Audiences within the Marketing Cloud. 
Resolution

To resolve the issue, a System Administrator will need to grant the required access. 
 

Granting Active Audiences Permissions


1. Click Admin tab. 
2. Click My Users
3. Click the name of the User who is receiving the error. 
4. Click Edit
5. Under "Marketing Cloud Permission and Roles" in the "Specify Marketing Cloud Roles" for User section, select Active Audiences
6. Click Save
