|Resolution||This is not available as an out of box functionality. As a workaround, the value can be retained in other field.
Use Case - An organization is planning on merging contacts. During merge the requirement is to retain both email.
1. Create a Report with the contact id (Record ID) and the Email
2. Export the Report
3. Create a Custom Field on contact: Example Email 2
4. Import the email into Salesforce (mapping the Email data to Email 2 field)
So every contact will now have 2 email field - Standard Email field and Custom email field.
While merging records you can merge the email and leave email 2 as is so that both values are retained.
