Can Live Agent users log into Live Agent via mobile?

Description Phone browsers have been known to constantly push browser refreshes.  When an agent is logged into Live Agent, if he/she refreshes the browser, it is expected functionality that this would cause the live agent session to disconnect and create a new session.  With mobile browsers constantly pushing a refresh, this makes it difficult for Live Agent users to stay connected to chats.
Resolution The behavior of the browser constantly refreshing is due to the way mobile phones handle browsers, and this is not specific to Salesforce.  For this reason, this type of functionality is not recommended and would be out of the scope of Support.


Memory and device management for these applications by the OS does this automatically to free up RAM and resources as needed.  Here are a couple external links that explains that this is a limitation on both iOS and Android devices:
