Social Studio Analyze - Dashboards


Dashboards are a collection of panels (or cards) that display summarized information of social account or topic profile activity. Reporting on your dashboards is easily performed within the Social Studio.

Multiple dashboards can be created for up to 50 Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ or YouTube accounts (all on separate dashboards) and a dashboard utilizing one Topic Profile. Multiple Social Listening Summary dashboards can be created using a different Topic Profile.

Social Listening Summary Best Practices:

  • Select the appropriate Social Listening Summary and associated date-range
  • You can filter your results by clicking on the Filter icon
  • Common filters used are Post Label, Media Type, Assignment, Classification or Sentiment
  • Hover over any card and select "Export as CSV" from top right hand corner
  • When pulling reports, it is advised to include workflow data in order to track ownership, or any labels applied to the post by your team
  • The CSV data can be then used to create custom reports for your business
  • It is important to remain consistent, continue to pull reports on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis to ensure you have the most relevant and up to date dataset

Account Summary Reports - Best Practices


Use the Account Summary Reports for real time monitoring off Social mentions or topic profile activity. Data can be examined through the Dashboard Cards or it can be exported into a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file for import into spreadsheet programs. The timeframe of the card data can be customized for your reports.

​Data from individual dashboard cards can be exported into a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file for import into spreadsheet programs. The timeframe of the card data matches the timeframe for the entire dashboard. To export a different range of card data, change the timeframe for the dashboard first.
