Some users are not receiving Email Notifications for Approval Process

Description After creating an "Approval Process" some of the users do not get the Email Notifications.
Resolution This issue occurs when inactive users are added in "Approval Step 1" of the Approval Process. If we remove the inactive users from Step 1 all the active users that are left will receive an email notification.

Below are the steps to remove inactive users from Approval Process:

Click on Setup | Create | Workflow & Approvals | Approval Processes | Click on Approval Process Name | Edit Approval Steps 1 | Remove the inactive users | Click on Save.
