Actions Missing from Activity Composer on Standard Objects

Description Customers might notice that certain actions such as 'Log a Call', 'New Task', and 'New Event' will not appear in Lightning Experience within the detail page for Opportunity, Account, Contact, and Lead.
Resolution In some Salesforce orgs, configuration settings may prevent the activity composer from displaying activity tabs on opportunities or other records. Here is what the activity composer looks like:

“Log a Call,” “New Task,” or “New Event” Tab Is Missing
