How Journey Builder evaluates Decision Splits

Knowledge Article Number 000232426
When using Decision Splits within the Journey Builder application, the order of the filter logic in place helps dictate which path a Contact will travel throughout a Journey Builder Interaction.

Filter Evaluation

Journey Builder will process the conditions for the paths in order (from top to bottom), and the first one which matches will be used. Therefore, if you have paths "A", "B", "C", and "Remainder," the following rules will apply:
* If "A" is true, go down path "A"
* If "B" is true and "A" is false, go down path "B"
* If "C" is true and both "A" and "B" are false, go down path "C"
* If "A", "B", and "C" are all false, go down the "Remainder" path
