Unexpected Delays with Salesforce-to-Salesforce (S2S) Forwarding
|Knowledge Article Number||000232843|
|Description||In Spring '16, we changed the way Salesforce-to-Salesforce (S2S) records are enqueued for forwarding. This change improves performance for the majority of organizations using S2S.
For Organizations forwarding very large volumes of records (in the millions), there may be some delays. High volumes of records may exceed the rate at which these batches are processed, causing the delay.
|Resolution||Although users may see longer-than-expected times, records will still forward successfully.
Connected organizations that find S2S insufficient for their business needs, due to such delays, should consider consulting options for assistance in identifying an alternate solution.
