Global Picklist greyed out

|Description||After creating a picklist field that is referenced in a Global Picklist (Pilot feature), the field is grayed out and you're unable to select values available in the Global Picklist.|
|Resolution||Global Picklists are also controlled in Record Types. In order for the values to show on the object where you referenced the Global Picklist field, you need to add the global picklist values in the record types of the affected object. Here are the steps:
For Standard Objects:
1. Click on Setup | Customize | Object name | Record Types.
a) Click on the name of the Record Type.
b) Click Edit on the affected picklist field that is referencing to the Global Picklist.
c) Add the values to the Selected Values section.
d) Click on Save.
For Custom Objects:
1. Click on Setup | Create | Object.
2. Click on Object Name:
a) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for Record Types section.
b) Click on the record type name.
c) Click Edit on the affected picklist field that is referencing to the Global Picklist.
d) Add the values to the Selected Values section.
e) Click on Save.
