Users see the following error when they try to login to Salesforce for Outlook (SFO)
TLS is not configured correctly in Internet Explorer Settings
|Resolution||Apply the TLS setting below to the Internet Explorer | Advance tab | Security section and restart IE and SFO and try to login again.
- Press and hold down the Windows key and then hit the R key on your keyboard to bring up the RUN box then type in Inetcpl.cpl to open up Internet Explorer settings.
- Click on the Advanced tab and scroll down to go to the Security section and then check the box for TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2.
- Click on Ok and restart IE.
