Why I can not delete Milestones or Entitlement Processes

1. Customer can rename the entitlement process to .old or (obsolete) to retain the history.
2. Under extreme situation, the customer can delete the case ( not ideal).
3, If customer is not happy with the workaround 1 and 2. please following the below process:
a) Reactivate the old Entitlement process or create a dummy Entitlement process
c) add to case Account or contact
c) open the related case and temp add the Entitlement Process
d). change the case status to Open. you will notice the entitlement process end time is empty.
e). edit the case related entitlement record and remove the Completion Date and save
f) after save you will notice the Case Milestone status changed to open.
g). You can now remove the Entitlement name for the case and all the related Case milestone records will be removed from the case related list section.
h). Please empty your Recycle and now try to delete
i). If you get " Record deleted" Error when try to delete Entitlement Process even when the deleted entitlement is emptied from the recycle bin. Please log a support case and request salesforce support to perform the physical delete
