Why can't a User see Opportunity Splits in the Opportunity Split Related List?

Description Even if a User has "Full Access" to an Opportunity - or any other appropriate access, including being an Opportunity Team Member - they may not be able to see existing Split Records in the Opportunity Splits Related List.
 
Resolution If all Opportunity access is correct, this is most likely due to a Field-Level Security issue.

For the User's Profile in question, the following must be true for them to see Opportunity Splits present in the Opportunity Splits related list:

1. On the Opportunity Object, the Field Level Security must be at least Read-Only on the Opportunity Amount Field.

2. On the Opportunity Object, the Field Level Security must be at least Read-Only on the Account Name.

3. On both the Opportunity Object AND the Opportunity Split Object, the Field Level Security for any present fields on the Splits related list layout must be at least Read-Only.

Once all of those settings are adjusted, the user should be able to view any existing Split records.
