How do I reactivate Salesforce Mobile Classic?
 

The Salesforce Mobile Classic application can be reactivated by erasing and reloading the local data set if necessary.  This can be done directly by end-users or remotely by an administrator.  These steps will also fix issues with corrupted data in the app.

    Resolution

    A. End User Reactivation
         Erase and Reload Mobile Data from the Handheld - iPhone

    • Open the Salesforce Classic app
    • Tap the More... button
    • Tap the App Info selection
    • Ensure a synchronization is not in progress by confirming the Sync button does not read “Syncing…”
    • If a synchronization is in progress, wait until it completes before proceeding
    • Tap the Clear Data button at top (you may need to scroll to the side)
    • Select Clear All and Deactivate on the confirmation dialog
    • Re-enter the username and password credentials when prompted

         Erase and Reload Mobile Data from the Android

    • Open the Salesforce Classic app
    • Click the Application Info icon
    • Ensure a synchronization is not in progress by confirming the Sync button does not read “Syncing…”
    • If a synchronization is in progress, wait until it completes before proceeding
    • Tap the Clear Data button
    • Select Clear All and Deactivate on the confirmation dialog (this is the final prompt)
    • Re-enter the username and password credentials when prompted

    B. Admin Reactivation
         Erase Mobile Data from the Mobile Administration Console (PC)

    • Go to Setup and search for Salesforce Classic
    • Click on Users and Devices
    • Click on the checkbox next to the user's name.
    • Click on the 'Erase Data' button.
    • Salesforce Classic Mobile on the user’s device will be deactivated when the device next attempts to sync and the user will then be prompted to enter in their username / login on their device. This will initiate a sync of their data (it may take up to 20 minutes for the erase data request from the computer to be acknowledged by the mobile device).
