Live Agent Automatic Invite chat is appearing immediately when there should be a delay
|Knowledge Article Number||000233938|
|Description||If you have an Automated invite Chat button and you have configured it to have criteria that references "URL Match" and "Number of Page Views", and you've listed multiple URL's with the same Domain, each view of any of those listed URLs counts as a Page view. The count is unique to the Domain, not the page.
For example, if you have the following criteria:
((URL Match STARTS WITH https://mydomain.salesforce.com/Page1/) AND ((Seconds on Page GREATER THAN 20) OR (Number of Page Views GREATER THAN 2)))
OR (((URL Match STARTS WITH https://mydomain.salesforce.com/Page2/) AND ((Seconds on Page GREATER THAN 20) OR (Number of Page Views GREATER THAN 2)))
OR (((URL Match STARTS WITH https://mydomain.salesforce.com/Page3/) AND ((Seconds on Page GREATER THAN 20)))
If you go to "https://mydomain.salesforce.com/Page1/", then go to "https://mydomain.salesforce.com/Page2/" and then go to "https://mydomain.salesforce.com/Page3/", you will notice after going to "https://mydomain.salesforce.com/Page3/", the automated invite will appear immediately instead of after 20 seconds. This is because all three of the mentioned URL's are using the same domain, "mydomain.salesforce.com", so each visit to the pages counts as 1 Page View.
|Resolution||Keeping the above in mind, either adjust the Number of Page Views or remove it from the criteria if you feel it's no longer necessary.|
