Default Custom App set to Not Visible for Profiles after Lightning Edition Upgrades on Professional Edition orgs

Description System Admins on Professional Edition orgs may have noticed that the default app for their users was set to Not Visible after the recent Lightning Edition upgrades.
Resolution To revert the changes and make your default app visible again you can follow these steps:

1. Login as a System Admin

2. Go to Setup

3. Select Create | Apps

4. Click the Edit link next to your app

5. Check the box in the Default column

6. Save the changes
