Columm Headers disappears from List Views pinned to the left when opening a record

Knowledge Article Number 000240266
Description If you open any Object in a Console App with a Pinned to left list placement setting the List View column headers will be displayed to make the list sortable (e.g. columns like Case Number, Contact Name...are clickable). Now, if you click on one record then the screen will split in two: list view on the left-hand side and record details on the right-hand side. The list view displayed on the left-hand side does no longer have clickable headers.
Resolution This is expected since the column headers disappear when the pinned list is of a width that we wrap the row data on 2 rows. If you widen your pinned list, the list items won't be wrapped onto 2 rows and the column headers will appear.
If you cannot expand the width of the column to the point where the wrap disappears because it's taking too much space, there are two other workarounds to resolve the issue depending on the following business requirement.

A. Orientation of the List View does not matter
You can choose either the option on the Choose List Placement section to Pinned to top. Lists are always visible or Full screen, unpinned. Lists are visible only when the navigation tab is selected. So you can sort the list views.
1. From Setup, enter Apps in the Quick Find box, then select Apps.
2. Select a Service Console app.
3. Click Edit.
4. Choose List Placement Section.

B. Orientation of the List View matter and I need to have the ability to sort the list views on the left side of the console.

For this one we can disable the new console feature Responsive Lists to be able to still sort the list views per column on the left side of the console.
1. From Setup, enter Apps in the Quick Find box, then select Apps.
2. Select a Service Console app.
3. Click Edit.
4. Deselect Enable Responsive Lists box. Click on Save.

You should be able to see a different appearance of the list view on the left side of the console and maintain the sorting capabilities.
