Password Expiry Date is one day Off from user Account Creation Date

Description Users will notice when creating user report that some records have Password Expiration Date 1 day off from user record creation date.

Resolution This is working as designed. The password does expire one day from user record creation until the password is reset.

Here are the scenarios:

user1@abclabs.com - No Last Login and Password Expiration Date is less than 1 day

User record was created with "Generate new password and notify user immediately" option checked.
Profile has "Password Never Expires" disabled.
Password was generated but user never logged in.

OR

User record was created with "Generate new password and notify user immediately" option unchecked.
Profile has "Password Never Expires" disabled.
Password was generated through the Reset Password Button but user never logged in.

user2@abclabs.com - No Last Login and No Password Expiration

User record was created with "Generate new password and notify user immediately" option unchecked.
Profile has "Password Never Expires" disabled.
User never logged in.

user3@abclabs.com - With Last Login Date and Password Expiration Date is 90 Days from Created Date.

Either user record was created with "Generate new password and notify user immediately" option checked or Password was generated through the Reset Password Button.
Profile has "Password Never Expires" disabled.

Click Setup | Security Controls | Password Policies | User Password Expire In was set to 90 days.

User logged in successfully.
