'Invalid Page' error when switching languages on an Article Detail page in a Napili Community
|Knowledge Article Number||000240900|
|Description||Guest users may see an 'Invalid Page' error if they switch languages on an Article Detail page.
|Resolution||Users would see this error if the URL Name of the article they are currently viewing does not match the URL Name of the article they are switching to. Suppose you have two versions of the same article in both English and French. The URL Name of the English version of your article is Release-Readiness and the URL Name of the French version of the article is Préparation-de-sortie.
If a Guest user clicks on a link for the English version of your article they would be taken to a URL similar to this: https://myCommunity.force.com/napili/s/article/Release-Readiness?language=en_US
If they use the Language Picker to switch their language to French they would be redirected to a URL similar to this: https://myCommunity.force.com/napili/s/article/Release-Readiness?language=fr
Since there is no French version of the article with the URL Name Release-Readiness the user gets an error. To get around the issue you'll want to update all your versions of the article, so that they have the same URL Name. Using our example, you would change the URL Name of the French version of your article from Préparation-de-sortie to Release Readiness.
