Outlook Integration with Inbox and Einstein Activity Capture

Use Outlook Integration with Inbox and Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) when you want to automatically log emails and calendar events to Salesforce without any manual steps.
  • Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) automatically logs emails and events to related Salesforce records.
  • The Outlook Integration with Inbox client adds productivity features directly in your inbox.

Salesforce for Outlook (Retired December 2027)

Salesforce for Outlook (SFO) is a Microsoft Outlook integration application that is installed locally and syncs contacts, events, and tasks between Outlook and Salesforce.
Important: Admins can no longer download and set up Salesforce for Outlook as it is in the maintenance-only phase. Salesforce for Outlook will be retired in December 2027. Organizations still using SFO should plan to migrate to the Outlook Integration.
