Clearing the app cache in the Salesforce Mobile App is a recommended first step when troubleshooting common performance and display issues.

Clear the app cache when you experience any of the following:
  • Recently saved changes are not appearing
  • The app is running slowly or pages are loading sluggishly
  • Maps or images on Visualforce pages fail to display on certain devices
  • The app exhibits unexpected behavior, especially after a major release
Note on major releases: Major Salesforce releases can include significant updates. Outdated data stored in the cache can sometimes conflict with the new version. If you notice unusual behavior after an update, clearing the cache is the recommended first step.

Verify your device's operating system is supported

Before clearing the cache, confirm that your device is running a supported OS version. See the Mobile Platform Requirements section of Requirements for the Salesforce Mobile App.
 
 

Clear the app cache

Ensure the Salesforce Mobile App is updated to the latest version available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, then:
  1. In the Salesforce Mobile App, tap the User Profile Avatar (upper-left corner) and select Settings.
  2. Tap Advanced.
  3. Tap Clear Cached Data.
  4. Force quit the Salesforce Mobile App, then reopen it and pull to refresh pages to verify your changes.
