This issue is caused when the domain for accessing Outlook on the web is not included in the Microsoft Outlook on the web allowlist in the Outlook Integration settings in Salesforce. To acquire the correct domain needed for allowlist access Outlook on the web, copy the domain that is present in the address bar. Utilize wildcards ( * ) to compensate for any variation that there may be in the Domain. See the steps below:

Add the domain name for Outlook Integration in Salesforce

  1. On the upper-right corner of your window, click the gear icon and then click on Setup.
  2. On the quick find box, search for Outlook Integration and Sync and click on it from the results.
  3. Click on Let users access Salesforce records from Outlook under Outlook Integration.
  4. Locate the section for Microsoft® Outlook® Web App Domain.
  5. Click on New.
  6. To acquire the correct domain needed for allowlist access Outlook on the web, copy the domain that is present in the address bar.
  7. Paste on the 'Domain' name and place any values for 'Developer Name' and 'Master Label.'
  8. Click on Save.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, then investigate other areas by running the Outlook Integration Debug tool and consider that the listed EWS endpoint and Metadata endpoint URLs need to be accessible by Salesforce.
