Unable to See Opportunity Splits in the "Opportunity Splits" Related List

Users may be unable to see records in the Opportunity Splits related list, even if they have full access to the Opportunity or are part of the Opportunity Team.

In most cases, this issue is caused by Field-Level Security (FLS) restrictions rather than record-level access.

Lösning

To view Opportunity Splits, users must have appropriate Field-Level Security access on specific fields across both Opportunity and Opportunity Split objects.


Required Field-Level Security Settings

Ensure the following for the user’s Profile or Permission Set:

On Opportunity Object

  • Amount field → At least Read-Only access
  • Account Name field → At least Read-Only access

On Opportunity and Opportunity Split Objects

  • All fields displayed in the Opportunity Splits related list must have at least Read-Only access

How to Check Field-Level Security

Lightning Experience:

  1. Go to Setup
  2. Navigate to Profiles
  3. Select the user’s profile
  4. Scroll to Field-Level Security
  5. Click View next to Opportunity

Salesforce Classic:

  1. Go to Setup
  2. Navigate to Profiles
  3. Select the user’s profile
  4. Scroll to Field-Level Security
  5. Click View next to Opportunity

After Updating Settings

  • Save changes
  • Refresh the Opportunity record
  • Verify that the Opportunity Splits related list now displays records
