If a scheduled or in-progress User-Initiated Email Send needs to be stopped — for example, because the wrong audience was selected, the email contains an error, or the send was triggered at the wrong time — use the Cancel Send feature in Marketing Cloud Email Studio.
Important: Cancelling a send is a permanent action. Any subscribers who have not yet received the email will not receive it — the cancelled send cannot be restarted from the same Job. A new send must be configured if you need to re-send to the remaining audience.
There are two paths to cancel a User-Initiated Send depending on the audience type used — see the Resolution below to identify which path applies to your send.

If the send targets a Salesforce Data Extension, it will not appear under Tracking > Sends. Use the following path instead:
