Reset the Dataflow Definition JSON in CRM Analytics

게시 일자: Jul 16, 2024
상세 설명

You may wish to reset or clear out the Dataflow Definition after front-loading data and transitioning to a maintenance Dataflow or because extensive changes to the Dataflow are not working as expected.

Whatever the case, resetting the Dataflow JSON is a quick process.

솔루션

Before you begin, if you need to restore the dataflow, back up the Dataflow Definition file.

Download existing JSON

1. In Analytics Studio, click the Gear icon and then click Data Manager to open the Monitor
2. In the lower-left corner click Manage Dataflows
3. Select Dataflows & Recipes
4. In the dropdown actions for the target dataflow, click Download. We recommend naming the file with a descriptive time-stamped name (like Dataflow_MM-DD-YYYY.json)

Upload "blank" JSON

1. In a text or JSON editor, create a file that contains only the following:
{ }
Save this with a descriptive name ("blank JSON" is popular).

2. In CRM Analytics, click the Gear icon and then click Data Manager to open the Monitor
3. Select Dataflows & Recipes
4. To upload the blank definition file, click Upload in the actions list (on the right side). Locate and upload the file you created. The Dataflow has to be run after the blank JSON file has been uploaded

Note: This will not remove existing datasets. You'll need to remove those separately if you wish. Any existing dashboards and lenses based on the removed datasets will also need to be removed.
