Chat options 'Automatically accept chats' and 'Re-route Decline requests'

Description

The following Chat routing options were introduced in the Spring '14 release:

  • Reroute Declined Chat Requests to Available Agents
  • Automatically Accept Chats After They’re Assigned to an Agent


Note: The 'Routing Type' for the button or invitation must be selected as 'Least Active' or 'Most Available' for the options to appear as choices.

Select 'Routing Type' options 'Least Active' or 'Most Available' (in Lightning UI)

 


1. Navigate to Setup | Chat | Chat Buttons & Invitations
2. Click Edit next to the 'Chat' button.
3. The 'Least Active' or 'Most Available' options are located in the 'Routing Information' section.
