Email Notification or Standard Owner Change Notification Not Received

Users may notice they are not receiving an email alert, standard notification, or other automated emails, even though deliverability is set to "All Email" and support has activated "Stop Automated Field Updates from Suppressing Email Notifications." This tends to occur more often in a sandbox than in production, but can occur in any org.
Solución

Users affected by this will need to ensure their email address has been verified (or in some cases will need to reverify their email address). Verification can take place by having an administrator:

  • Reset the password of the affected user(s)
  • or, change the email address of the affected user(s), save, and then change the email address back to the original value. This should trigger a verification of email change.

Once the email has been verified for the user(s), standard notifications and email alerts should function normally again.
