Which customers are entitled to personalized guidance for key events?

All Salesforce Signature Success Plan customers get personalized guidance to prepare for business-critical events for Salesforce clouds covered by Signature.

What are the key events or peak times?

  • Highest Volume/Business Critical Event: This is the customer’s single-most important event of the year. The Signature team works with the customer to prepare for high-volume traffic or business impacting events for your organization. Typically these events have significant revenue impact on the customer’s organization.
    • Examples include: tax season for accounting technology, open enrollment season for healthcare industry, and Black Friday / Cyber Monday for retail customers

  • Customer Pre-Production & Go-Live: Additional preparation and guidance is provided for the important Go-Live events throughout the year. These are events that the customer has specified needing additional support and monitoring to ensure that the events run smoothly.
    • Examples include: the customer’s release cycles, the customer’s deployment events, large sale or activity events that are not the largest event of the year.

  • Salesforce (Technical) Release Planning: The Signature team collaborates with the customer to review and prepare for upcoming Salesforce releases, aligned to cloud specific rollout schedules. This offers customers guided support to understand and plan for changes in an upcoming technical release, clarify the potential benefits and impacts, take any necessary proactive steps, and manage pre-production environments in alignment.

How do you collaborate with your Signature team to prepare for key events?

  • Discovery phase: The Signature team is an extension of your internal Salesforce team. Collaborate with your Signature team to identify and plan for high-volume events, go-live events, and Salesforce technical releases at least 6 months in advance.

  • Planning and readiness phase: This phase kicks off a minimum of 6 months before the start date of the proposed Highest Volume/Business Critical Event. The purpose of this phase is event preparation, planning and identifying additional help needed to get ready for the big day.
    • During the planning and readiness phase, your Signature team will develop and review the monitoring plan, threshold analysis, and discuss any adjustments needed with your team.
    • The Signature team will partner with you to conduct an in-depth proactive review to optimize opportunities and risks.  For more information, visit our website. The team will provide personalized guidance to remove risks and provide added support during critical timeframes

  • Execution phase: This is the phase of the key event management process where the Signature team and customer’s internal Salesforce team will collaborate to execute the plan to maintain business continuity to ensure the customer’s key event does not get disrupted. The Signature team will closely monitor and address all the incoming cases.
