Create a notification process to track Error Log changes in Salesforce Billing

Salesforce Billing provides an Error Log object to capture stack traces and failure reasons for a variety of issues that might come up while working with Salesforce Billing. This includes creating revenue schedules, creating payment records, allocating payments, and creating and posting invoices. Learn how to set up a process to be notified when new error logs are created and track corrections.
솔루션
  1. Create a new field on the Error Log object with a name like 'Issue Fixed'. This should be a Boolean with the default value False
  2. Create a report using the type Error Logs that shows at least the Created Date and Full Error Log fields. Show all error logs with Created Date = All Time. Filter by the field you created in step 1 (Issue Fixed) = False


Subscribe to this report at a cadence that suits your schedule or create a Dashboard to show when there are unaddressed error logs. 

As you fix issues that come up via an error log, edit the Error Log record to set Issue Fixed = True. This takes it off the report and dashboard.
