Event Monitoring, part of Salesforce Shield, is a data security product on the Salesforce Platform that lets you see the granular activity of users in your organization. Customers can track and audit behavior by monitoring security, tracking application performance, and gleaning product intelligence insights using event logs. Customers can also set Transaction Security Policies, which can automatically block risky user actions, and prevent data loss before it occurs.
