Mass Actions with Multiple Field Update in Salesforce Maps

This article answers a common question about Salesforce Maps: how do you use Mass Actions to update multiple fields on a group of records at once? Mass Actions let you select markers within a drawn boundary and apply the same field updates to all of them in a single action.

Updating Multiple Fields with Mass Actions

1. Start by Plotting a Marker Layer.

2. Use a polygon/square/circle to draw a boundary around a number of markers.

3. Right-click the shape. Select Mass Actions and Update Field.

4. You can now pick the Fields to update as well as the Values. The Add Field button adds another field that you can update. The X icon removes a field.
