1. Open Salesforce Maps Mobile, and plot a marker layer. Note that Salesforce Maps Mobile may plot markers only in the visible map area. Zoom in or out and refresh the layer to display markers in the area you want to see using refresh icon:
2. Tap a marker where you want to log a visit.
3. If you need directions to the marker’s location, tap Take Me There to open your preferred navigation app and get turn by turn directions.
4. Tap Check In to open a Salesforce Activity record for your visit:
Note: If you do not see the Check In button, tap the three vertical dots in line with the button menu. Check In may be one of the additional options.
5. After checking in at a record, Salesforce Maps Mobile automatically displays a Check Out button in place of the Check In button. Tap Check Out after finishing your visit.
Note: If your organization has enabled Auto Check Out in the Salesforce Maps Configuration menu, Salesforce Maps will automatically check out of this record and close the Salesforce Activity record. You will not see a Check button with Auto Check Out enabled.
6. If your organization has configured a Custom Disposition for Salesforce Maps, you will see a form asking you to complete a list of Salesforce Activity fields. Complete the form to log information about your visit, and tap Finish to complete the Check Out process.

2. Tap the first stop on your Route or Schedule and tap Take Me There if you need turn by turn directions to the stop location.
