Click2Create in Salesforce Maps allows users to create new Salesforce records — such as Leads, Contacts, or Cases — directly from a map marker without navigating away from the map. This is especially useful for field reps who identify new prospects or service locations while in the field. This article covers how to use Click2Create from a Point of Interest (POI) marker and from the My Position marker.
1. Open Salesforce Maps and search for a point of interest.
2. Select a POI marker to plot it on the map.
3. Select Click2Create.
4. Select the type of record to create
5. Fill out and review input fields and values. Select Finish.
6. Note the styling applied to the marker. Select the record to review the detail page.
1. Open Salesforce Maps and select the My Position marker.
2. Select the My Position marker to view the tooltip
3. Select Click2Create.
4. Complete the prompts to create the record.
Note:- If Marker after Click2Create plots at a different or a near by location please follow these steps to resolve the issue.
