Not able to see the Salesforce Marketing Cloud app in connected apps

You may encounter that the Marketing Cloud Connect app isn't appearing in Sales/Service after installing the Marketing Cloud Connect package. This article provides details on how to configure the Marketing Cloud conenction. 

Lösung

For the Marketing Cloud connected app to appear in Agentforce Sales (formerly Sales Cloud) or Agentforce Service (formerly Service Cloud), the org should be connected to marketing cloud.

Configure the Marketing Cloud Connection

  1. Log in to Marketing Cloud.
  2. Hover over your username and select Setup.
  3. Click Apps and select Salesforce Integration.
  4. Make sure Scope by User is deselected.
  5. Click Connect Account.
  6. Click OK to acknowledge the popup window.
  7. A login page displays in a new window. Enter the username and password for the Salesforce System User that you created in the last unit. If you are using a custom domain, select Use Custom Domain and enter the domain address before entering the Salesforce System User credentials.
  8. Click Allow to grant access for the Marketing Cloud API user to access the CRM org.

Configure the Connected App Settings in Salesforce CRM

  1. Log into your CRM instance
  2. Click Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  3. Click Edit Policies.
  4. Under Permitted Users, select Admin approved users are pre-authorized.
  5. If a warning message appears, click OK.
  6. Under IP Relaxation, select Relax IP restrictions.
  7. Under Refresh Token Policy, select Immediately expire refresh token.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Scroll down the page and click Manage Permission Sets.
  10. Select the Marketing Cloud Connected App permission set that you created in the previous unit.
  11. Click Save.

Should you not be able to find the Connected App in your CRM, follow the steps below to manually download this.

  1. Log in to Salesforce CRM
  2. Go to Setup and Search for "Connected Apps OAuth Usage"
  3. Find the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connected app and then click Install to add it to your org
