Dataflow or Data Sync Error: "Query is too large. Reduce number of fields in query."

When running Data Sync or a Dataflow, the following error may occur if too many fields are selected:

"Query is too large. Reduce number of fields in query. Trim the list of fields at Field_Name__c"

 

Even if the number of fields selected is lower than the "Maximum number of fields in a dataset" limit, the error will still occur if the combined API names for the fields are longer than the query itself can support.

Lösning
To resolve, remove unnecessary fields from Data Sync or the sfdcDigest node in the dataflow until the error does not occur.

We recommend only including fields in datasets that are useful for visualizing your data. Unnecessary fields should not be included in CRM Analytics at all.
