Add to Call List Action Not Working for Salesforce Sales Dialer

Salesforce updated the API name for the "Add to Call List" action with the Summer '19 release. As a result, orgs that have customized some of their search layouts may encounter issues with using the "Add to Call List" mass action.

This affects orgs using Sales Dialer, previously called Lightning Dialer, that have customized search layouts for accounts, leads, or contacts.

The "Add to Call List" action doesn't work from list views, not including the Recently Viewed list view.

Note: The "Add to Call List" action will not appear if you have enabled High Velocity Sales [Sales Engagement]. Take the steps to disable HVS, and then the action button will work.

 

Lösning

Update the search layout of the related objects to apply the new API name as instructed below:

  1. From Setup, enter Object Manager in the Quick Find box, and then select Object Manager.
  2. Select the object(s) that you add to call lists. For Lightning Dialer, this can include accounts, contacts, or leads.
  3. Click List View Button Layout.
  4. From the List View row, select the action dropdown and click Edit.
  5. Remove the "Add to Call List" action and save.
  6. From the List View row, select the action dropdown and click Edit.
  7. Add the "Add to Call List" action back again and save.
  8. Repeat steps 1-7 for other objects you add to call lists.
