Udgivelsesdato: Dec 19, 2025
Beskrivelse
When using Salesforce CPQ functionality, Monitoring the Login History for an organization may list hundreds or thousands of logins from one particular user. Login History (Setup | Login History) entries appear with the following information:
  • Login Type = Remote Access 2.0
  • Browser = Jakarta HTTP Commons
  • Application = SteelBrick CPQ
Løsning
When Salesforce CPQ (formerly known as Steelbrick CPQ) performs asynchronous calculations, the system makes a callout to a Heroku application service where it executes calculations in a Javascript environment. When the service completes calculations, it sends back the information to the Salesforce Org via an API call to commit the changes to the database. A login event takes place on each of these calculations.

This return of the data to the organization from Heroku uses a token generated from Authorizing the Calculation Service in the Pricing and Calculation Package Settings during installation. The user that authorized the calculation service is the user attributed to the logins related to CPQ.

For steps on how to change the authenticated user performing calculation API calls in the Org, see Salesforce CPQ Calculator Authorization User Best Practice.
