When an Inbox license is assigned to a user, the user is prompted to connect to a Gmail or Microsoft account before sending emails.
After the Spring'20 release, if the admin gives Inbox access to a user, these users will be prompted to connect to their Google or Microsoft account before being able to send any emails. This adds productivity features such as Send Later to your email and calendar.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.
Who: Users with the Use Inbox user permission, available with the High Velocity Sales or Inbox license.
How: To send an email, users need to connect their Google and Microsoft account with Salesforce.
