Drop a Pin to Use Click2Create on Maps Mobile

This article explains how to drop a pin anywhere on the map in the Salesforce Maps Mobile app and use it to create a new record with Click2Create.

Drop a Pin and Create a Record

1. In the Salesforce Maps Mobile experience, press and hold anywhere on the map until the Drop Pin option appears. Move the map marker to the location you want, then select Create Record.
2. Select the type of record you'd like to create.
3. Enter information into the object fields and click Finish to create the new record.

You've now created a record in Salesforce directly from the Salesforce Maps Mobile experience.
