Web Map setup in ArcGIS Online for Maps

Description
Prior to starting the Salesforce Maps Connector for ArcGIS you will want to get your web maps ready.
Resolution
1. Log in to your ArcGIS Online account.

2. Select My Content.

3. Select Feature Layer.

4. The Hosted Feature Layer wizard opens. At this point, you should work with your ArcGIS admin in order to work through your organization's available data. When you're comfortable, work through the Hosted Feature Layer wizard to create your layer.

5. Ensure you associate data with your map. You can do this by selecting Add while viewing your web map within ArcGIS Online.

6. Ensure your map's sharing settings are configured. Select Share.

7. You can further refine how you share the Web Map and select OK.

If you do not configure these settings, your web maps cannot be viewed with the ArcGIS Connector for Salesforce Maps.
