Migrate data when you downgrade CPQ+ to CPQ

CPQ+ and CPQ include a variety of available features and objects. If you elect to downgrade, your account team may need to create a new Salesforce org due to differences in available application features and functionality.
Løsning
If required to create a new Salesforce org upon downgrade, all of your data and customizations need to be manually transferred or migrated to the new org.

If you're unable to perform these steps or need more information, please review Migrate data from one organization to another.

 

High-level steps required to perform an org migration:

  1. Re-create any customizations or metadata such as custom objects, fields, reports, and list views from the source org in the newly created org.
  2. Export Backup Data from Salesforce in your source org.
  3. Import the exported data into your new org.
Note: Contact your account executive to discuss provisioning the API for Professional Edition.

If the API is not available to load your data, you’ll need to Import Data with the Data Import Wizard or consider using a third-party app available for your edition on the AppExchange. Note that Support for third-party apps, installed packages, or programs may not be available.
