Account Engagement Prospect Sync Error: 'sObject type is not supported...'

Veröffentlichungsdatum: Sep 30, 2025
Beschreibung
You may be running into a sync error that looks like this:

sObject type is not supported: MasterRecordId, ConvertedContactId from Lead where Email IN ('name@company.com' ^ ERROR at Row:1:Column:### sObject type 'Lead' is not supported. If you are attempting to use a custom object, be sure to append the '__c' after the entity name. Please reference your WSDL or the describe call for the appropriate names.
Lösung
That error message occurs because the Salesforce connector user does not have access to view the Lead Object in Salesforce. Even if you won't be using Lead records in Salesforce, the connector user still needs to have permission to view the object.

You can prevent the connector user from accessing any of the actual lead records by setting the OWD settings in Salesforce to "Private" and prevent lead records from being shared with the connector user.

If you do not use leads in Salesforce, we recommend enabling the reverse sync option on the connector, which Support can do for you. Note, that even if you enable this setting, you will still need to give the connector user permission to view the Lead Object in Salesforce or else that sync error will continue to occur.
