Experience Cloud: Experience Site Apps Not Visible in the App Launcher in Lightning Experience

Date de publication: Jul 8, 2026
Description

Issue Description

In Lightning Experience, apps for active Experience Cloud sites are not present in the App Launcher. This forces users to access Setup to log in to the site, or log directly into the site using their username and password (if enabled).

Step 1: Check App Menu Visibility

Confirm the apps are configured to be visible in the App Launcher:

  1. Navigate to Gear icon > Setup > User Interface > App Menu.
  2. Confirm if the Experience Site apps are present in the App Menu Setup.
  3. Check whether the apps are listed as Visible in App Launcher.
  4. If they are listed as Hidden in App Launcher, click that link to Show in App Launcher.

Step 2: Check App Profile Assignment

If the app is visible in the App Menu but required users still cannot see it in the App Launcher:

  2. Select the app that is not visible in the App Launcher.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Click User Profile from App Settings.
  5. Select the profile that requires access to the app from Available Profiles.
  6. Move the profile to Selected Profiles.
  7. Click Save.

Step 3: Open a Support Case (If Apps Are Not in App Menu)
