Experience Site apps not available in the App Launcher

Date de publication: Apr 3, 2023
Description
When in Lightning Experience, the apps for active sites are not present in the app launcher. This forces the user to either access the setup to log in to the site or log directly into the site using the username and password (if enabled).

First check to confirm the apps are configured to be visible in the App Launcher:

1. Lightning Experience: Gear icon | Setup | User Interface | App Menu
2. Confirm if the Experience Site Apps are present in the App Menu setup.
3. If they confirmed the apps are listed as "Visible in App Launcher".
4. If they are listed as "Hidden in App Launcher", then click that link to Show in App Launcher.

Second, if the app is visible from the app menu and the required users are not able to see the app in the app launcher then we can follow the below steps:

1. Go to Setup > Platform Tools > Apps > App manger.
2. Select the app that is not visible in the App Launcher.
3.Click Edit.
4.Click User Profile from App Settings.
5. Select the profile that requires access to the app from "Available Profiles".
6. Move the profile to "Selected Profiles".
7.Click Save.

NOTE: If the apps are not present in the App Menu setup, you need to open a case with Salesforce Support to enable the Experience Site Apps in the App Launcher. Please reference this knowledge article in the description of your case.
