n Salesforce Lightning Experience, users have the ability to undo a record deletion immediately after the deletion occurs. This feature helps prevent accidental data loss.
When a record is deleted in Lightning Experience, a popup notification appears with an Undo link. Clicking this link immediately restores the record. For example:
Note: This Undo feature is only available in Salesforce Lightning Experience. It is not available in Salesforce Classic.
If the Undo link is not used in time, deleted records can be recovered from the Salesforce Recycle Bin.
Note: If the Recycle Bin is not available under App Launcher in Lightning Experience, log a case with Salesforce Support to have it enabled.
Records remain in the Recycle Bin for 15 days (or until the org's storage capacity forces an earlier purge). After this period, records are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered through the Recycle Bin.
