This article explains why a newly created organization-wide email address (OWA) may not be immediately visible to users in Lightning Experience, even though it appears instantly in Salesforce Classic.
When a new organization-wide email address is created in Lightning Experience or Salesforce Classic, it may not be immediately available to users in the Lightning Experience user interface (UI). The address will, however, be immediately available to users in Salesforce Classic. This behavior is specific to the Lightning Experience caching mechanism for organization-wide addresses.
This is expected behavior. The Salesforce Classic user interface caches organization-wide addresses more frequently than the Lightning Experience user interface. Because of this difference in caching frequency, newly created organization-wide email addresses appear immediately in Classic but may be delayed in Lightning.
The length of the delay depends on the amount of data stored in the organization and may range from 30 minutes to several days. No action is required — the address will eventually appear without any configuration change.
