Marketing Cloud Connect Individual Email Result thumbnail preview displaying original AMPScript code when email sent contains AMPScript

When emails are sent from the Marketing Cloud Connect managed package to Salesforce audiences, if the email contains AMPScript, the thumbnail preview for that email send will contain the raw AMPScript text.  This thumbnail image won't dynamically render AMPScript code based on any subscriber information.

Решение

This is the same behavior that you'd see within the Marketing Cloud under tracking details for an individual send. The preview is a snapshot of the email itself and doesn't provide a preview of what this would look like for a single subscriber. Therefore, when using AMPScript and Dynamic Content, we generate a preview based on the original email before dynamic content and AMPScript is rendered.
