Quote Line Item creation in Classic and Lightning

Description
Quote Line Items are automatically created when the Quote is created from an Opportunity based on the Opportunity Products attached to that Opportunity. Creating a Quote from an Opportunity in Classic always results in Quote Line Items created but in Lightning for the same record it is possible that no Quote Line Items are created.
Resolution

Behavior in Salesforce Classic

In Classic there is no limit to the number of Quote Line Items that can be created. 

Behavior in Lightning Experience (200-Record Limit)

Lightning is designed to limit the number to 200 records. If the Opportunity has more than 200 products and a Quote is created no Quote Line Items will be created.
